What is Airport Road?
PR 7 Road or Airport road Mohali is a six-lane ring road project that aims to decongest Zirakpur and Mohali by providing an alternative route to Shimla/Delhi bound traffic.
There are multiple flats on airport road Mohali and in this post, I am going to list some under-construction projects that I feel are the best ones
Originating at the Mohali airport, this road is 200 feet wide and meets the national highway at the iconic Mcdonalds & Decathlon junction.
This road will then further cross Peer Muchalla, Sanoli, Gazipur, Nagla and then join the sector 20-21 dividing road in Panchkula.
From there the road will cross into the road separating sector 25 and sector 26 in Panchkula through a bridge constructed on the river Ghaggar.
Why is Airport road Mohali considered an important landmark?
PR 7 or airport road Mohali is important because it connects Mohali, Zirakpur, and Panchkula to the international airport on a 200 feet wide road.
From a real estate point of view, there are many under construction and delivered flats on airport road Mohali and Zirakpur.
This road promises good future development and growth and is currently one of the most favored destinations for real estate investment in the area.
Latest Update on Airport road Mohali
Hindustan Times reports in this news article that GMADA has handed over 100-acre land to NHAI for the construction of this important road.
The road got stuck in legal wrangles when the landowners went to the court seeking higher compensation than was being offered by the administration.
This road will help prevent traffic congestion and approximately 1.5 lakhs of the vehicle will be diverted from entering Chandigarh city.
NHAI will now build 8 km of the road from McDonald’s on the Ambala-Zirakpur Highway, passing through Peer Muchalla, Sanoli, Gazipur, Nagla, and all Mohali villages the Sector 20/21 dividing road in Panchkula.

1. Uptown Skylla
Uptown Skylla offers 2, 3, 3 plus 1 and 4 bhk flats on airport road Mohali.
The projects that this builder has already delivered are Eminence, Hollywood Heights, Cherry Hills, etc.
La Prisma on the Chandigarh Ambala national highway is being currently delivered.
Features of Uptown Skylla
- The builders have a good record in delivering quality products. You can read the Google reviews for a couple of their projects Eminence Zirakpur and La Prisma Zirakpur.
- The location is a big advantage for this project. It is close to the Ambala Chandigarh Highway, Patiala highway and of course right on pr7 road.
- There is a commercial complex right on the road and that makes it even more attractive.
- Uptown Skylla comes with a host of environmentally friendly features. Some of these are:

Escon Primera is one of the biggest and most innovative projects on the airport road. The location is very close to the airport lights or the Patiala lights as is commonly known.
The builder of this project is Malwa Projects Pvt. Ltd who has successfully delivered Escon Arena before this project.
The company is unique in the sense because there is Zero debt, Zero bank loan, Zero Liability, and Zero litigation on the project.
There are a total of 790 units in the project. The first phase is under construction and has the following inventory up for sale:
- Number of 1550 3 bhk: 192
- 2100 3 bhk: 64
- 2250 3 plus s bhk: 64
The first phase also offers 4 Pent House units @ 1.27 crores. The clubhouse of the project is a massive 35000 square feet space with a multitude of facilities and amenities.

3. Ananta Lifestyle
These are 3 BHK units that are open on both sides and have very good ventilation and natural light.
Ananta is a beautiful project which has been very popular because it offers a good flat at a great location at a very reasonable price.
If you compare the open area, facilities, and amenities with a High rise, you may be disappointed, but overall, Ananta is a good value for money project.
Features of Ananta Lifestyle flats on Airport Road Mohali
Ananta apartments are Alexa enabled which allows you to control your electrical equipment through voice control.
You can also check your electricity consumption and control your electrical equipment through an app on your smartphone.

This project is an upcoming ultra-luxury project in Mohali. Right now only an expression of interest is being accepted and no sales are taking place.

8. JLPL Mohali
JLPL Mohali is a very good project on the airport road Mohali.
Many towers have been delivered and many are being constructed. The company has recently delivered its clubhouse and I can say with some authority that it is one of the best clubhouses in the city.

2 BHK are in short supply not only on the airport road Mohali but overall in Mohali and Zirakpur.
The minimum cost of a 2 bhk on the airport road is 48 lakh 25 thousand rupees. Other options are over 58 lacs.

The minimum cost of 3 bhk flats on airport road Mohali starts from 60 Lacs. The pricing goes as high as 1.7 crores for a 3 bhk flat on the same road. Multiple options are available.

Yes, there are plenty of good investment options available on the airport road but one needs to be careful while investing because choosing the best product is the key to a profitable investment.

No, all the highrise luxury residential projects are situated either in Mohali or in Zirakpur. Chandigarh has housing societies or independent houses.
